Taken from the roof of Nicholson Hall. The satellite dish used to feed NASA tv into the planetarium, but it is currently unused.
Beauty Dish Front

I didn’t want to pay more that for a Beauty Dish so I decided to make my own. Everyone wants waaaaaaay to much for theirs!!!!
1- Large clear plastic mixing bowl (Sterilite)
1- Metal gutter downspout piece
1- 5" round concave automtive mirror
1- Clear plastic protective "cd"
1- Roll of aluminum duct tape
1- Flat metal for L bracket
And lots of patience!!!
